Don Engelhardt has
pulled the trailer on every trip this past Summer and into the Fall.
He's also committed to pulling it on the Merced and Fairfield trips.
Space has been extremely tight on the trips where we take field show
equipment. There will be jazz and concert competition at Merced and
Fairfield which means that even more instruments will need to be transported
than in the past. In addition, the Boosters will be preparing a hot
meal for students on these trips which means even more equipment will
need to be transported. Don has requested that another parent pull our
smaller trailer on these two trips. If you're able to help with one
or both trips, please let me know.
The trailer requires a 2" ball. The tow vehicle assumes liability for
the trailer so we require "full coverage" insurance with $100,000 minimum
liability coverage. We offer fuel and bridge toll reimbursement for
trailer pullers. Start the trip with a full tank and refuel upon return
and present fuel and bridge receipts to the Booster Treasurer.
If you will be pulling the trailer for the first time, we require that you go to the yard and hook up once to make sure everything works BEFORE you'll be pulling. Don Engelhardt can arrange to get you the keys
